News Is Better For Colin Downie

Pirates netminder Colin Downie had better news for Pirates' fans last night when he confirmed that his ankle was not broken.

Colin suffered the injury whilst trying to prevent the third goal in the game against Edinburgh Capitals on Monday night.

It was reported that the ankle was broken but tests yesterday revealed that he had suffered a chipped bone and had damaged a tendon.

After a summer of rest we hope Colin will be back in goal for in the new season. Everyone at the club wishes Colin a speedy recovery.
